 Anne J. Parker, FNP

Anne is an Advanced Practice Nurse with a certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she earned her Master's Degree in Nursing.  As a nurse practitioner, she is qualified to act as a patient's primary care provider, acting in consultation with a physician.

Anne has practiced in Buncombe County for 20 years.  In that time she has worked in a variety of Health Care settings:  Public Health clinics; in a local allergy and asthma practice; and with a clinic serving uninsured and underinsured patients in Buncombe County before coming to EAFHC.  Anne believes that effective Health Care is a partnership between patient and provider, and focuses on wellness and prevention in addition to the treatment of acute and chronic problems.

Anne has been the secretary for a domestic violence task force for over a decade.  She attends the Keenagers Bible study group weekly and can often be found in her yard weeding or hanging out at the bowling center with her husband.
